After getting tired of other people anchoring on top of us, we sold our boat and moved to Lithuania, where my wife is from. While staying at her mother's, fixing up the house, garden and garage, we searched for a place of our own.
After a long and thorough search, in 2024 we bought an 90 year old farmstead from an 98 year old man (and his daughters). It was big, old, messy, had numerous barns full of stuff, a couple piles of junk in the yard, a little bit of forest, a big field or two and a log house built in 1935.
